Bee Art Show: Creating Positive Mental Health

Art is vital to a healthy, happy, vibrant life and community. Come see how the Tehama County Arts Council is raising awareness to ways art can contribute to that with their Bee Show art, during Mental Health Awareness Month. Art will focus on depicting a bee theme either in the art or the title; bee kind, bee a friend, bee happy, bee authentic, bee strong, bee at peace, bee free or any other message that speaks to the artists to be creative! The Bee Show will open with an artist's reception Friday, May 10, 5:30-8pm, Tehama Arts Gallery, 328 Oak Street, Red Bluff. Come vote for your favorite piece of art to win the People's Choice Award. The show runs through May 31, 11am-5pm, Fridays & Saturdays. Free Art Classes focusing on creating more positive mental health are also offered. Information is on the Tehama County Arts Council's Facebook page. For exhibiting or signing up for the art classes email: tcacarts@gmail.com, (530) 278-5691, www.tehamaarts.org.
