Entries decorated in twinkling lights cruise, march, dance, and ride down the main streets of Redding, lighting up a fun and festive evening for all to enjoy. Gifts Of Joy, Arts and Crafts Show
If you are looking for that special gift, the Tehama County Arts Council invites you to its third annual Gifts of Joy Arts & Crafts Show opening Saturday, November 30, 12-7pm, in the Tehama Arts Gallery & Art Studio, 328 Oak St., Red Bluff. It's a great time to find that amazing, one-of-a-kind gift of art for family, friends and also for yourself, all available for a purchase price of under $50. The show will feature arts and crafts by local artists and artisans to include original art, prints, cards and an assortment of other works of art and crafts in many mediums. A special feature this year will be the opportunity table to pick up some gently used art supplies and art books for a small fee. Blacksmith Class at Jake Jackson Museum
Among other annual activities, using the replicated shop, local blacksmiths put on live demonstrations for school tours, bus tours and holiday weekends. The blacksmiths also produce items for sale in the Museum’s Gift Shop. Blacksmithing classes are taught under the sponsorship of the California Blacksmith Association.
