Tumbleweed Trails: Art Of The West
Ride into the heart of the untamed frontier with the Tumbleweed Trails: Art of the West Show, April 4-19, at the Tehama Arts Gallery, 328 Oak St. Red Bluff. From sweeping desert landscapes, to rugged cowboys, wild mustangs, and ranch life, this show captures the essence of the land where history and myth intertwine. Featured artists are Kimberly Fullingim and Leah Castor. Fullingim's realistic paintings capture the souls of animals that define ranch life, as she translates their trust, personalities, and the mutual bond she has with them onto her canvases. Raised on a ranch, Leah Castor's custom leatherwork is her passion. Each piece is a work of art, and the beautifully etched details capture the western spirit. Come to the artists reception, Friday, March 4, 5:30-8 pm. Participate in selecting the People's Choice Art Award winner. Gallery Hours: Frid & Sat, 12-4 pm. Sponsored by the Tehama County Arts Council. Read More
